Eva Weingartl, Co-Founder and Advisor
Eva, another founder of TCFJ, got excited about rescuing food while watching John Oliver’s show. Eva has an undergraduate in Nutrition, and always had a passion for food and helping those in need. She enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling, lots of traveling! She has travelled to both Colorado and Wyoming to check out other FRA (Food Rescue Alliance) organizations! (Which are awesome and you should check them out too!).
Sam Carlson, Co-Founder and Advisor
Sam is one of the co-founders of TCFJ. She firmly believes that access to healthy produce and nutritious food is a right. She currently works as a Data & Statistical Analyst for Family Medicine & Community Health at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Sam is a runner and data enthusiast who is passionate about the environment, public policy, advocacy, health equity, and social justice. She hopes that TCFJ will not only increase access to fresh produce for populations in need, but also improve the local policies and awareness surrounding hunger and food waste.
Alyssa Fritz, Nutrition Consultant
Alyssa is a registered dietitian with past experience working with the WIC Program. She recently moved to the Vail Valley in Colorado and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree through Johns Hopkins University (online) while enjoying the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Alyssa is passionate about public health, especially in regards to making healthy food more accessible to everyone. She enjoys running and everything FOOD: reading about it, shopping for it, cooking it, and most of all eating it!
